Intensive therapy and recreational summer camp
for children and youth with special needs
What We Do
When a family member has special needs, the entire family has special needs.
The mission of Adam’s Camp is to realize the potentials and develop the strengths of children and youth by bringing together individuals and families with professionals and volunteers to collaboratively provide customized, intensive therapy, family support, and recreation in a camp environment.
Intensive Therapy Family Camps
Our carefully designed intensive therapy programs focus on each child’s strengths to provide goal-directed, outcome-based treatment. Synergy, focus, and extensive time dedicated specifically to strengthening skills make this a unique and powerful intervention.
Attended by the whole family, activities and support are also provided for siblings and parents so that the whole family has the opportunity to realize potentials and develop strengths.
Who We Serve
Adam’s Camp Alaska serves children and youth with special needs and their families.
While therapy for the child with special needs is the primary focus, parents and siblings also have an important role in the family experience. These programs are ideal for families with a child that is working towards developmental milestones, with siblings wanting a camp experience of their own, and who want respite in a relaxed setting, allowing for quality time with one another and as a family.
